Recap of the Cruiserweight Open from Wrestlemania XX. Opening Montage. Michael Cole and Tazz are your hosts.
Billy Kidman def Chavo Guerrero via Disqualification (Chavo Sr. Interference)
After the match Chavo begins to beat Billy Kidman continuously, until Rey Mysterio comes out to his aid. Heyman notes that due to the Hurricane having entered a tournament that was for Smack Down! Cruiserweights only, he had been stripped of the title before Wrestlemania even went off the air. Paul Heyman orders a tournament to determine the new Cruiserweight Champion. The tournament will begin later tonight when Rey Mysterio faces the Ultimo Dragon!

Paul Heyman then goes on to announce that he has signed a new talent to the Smack Down! roster as of yesterday. But he will not be here tonight, although we will compete next week in the Cruiserweight Title Tournament.
The Basham Brothers def The APA
Backstage after the match, Farooq is talking to Bradshaw about closing things down for good. They've had a good run, but it just seems like he can't keep up anymore. Bradshaw says that he understands, but has just one more thing to say about it. Farooq asks what that might be, and Bradshaw hits Farooq with a Clothesline From Hell! Bradshaw then says, "Business is about to pick up, pal!"
Eddie Guerrero & John Cena def Brock Lesnar & The Big Show via Pinfall (Cena F-U on Brock)
At the end of the match Eddie goes to congratulate Cena, who then turns on him and drops him with and F-U! Cena heads to the back and runs into Paul Heyman who informs John Cena that he has been entered into the U S Title #1 Contenders Tournament for NITRO, but if he so much as attacks anyone between now and the start of the tournament, he will be removed from the brackets.
Sean O'Haire & The Undertaker Fought to a No Contest (Double Count Out)
Michael Cole announces before the match that this might be a preview of the U S Title Tournament final as both men are entered into the tournament. After the match, the fight escalates even further into the crowd and makes its way to the back where Sean O'Haire drives the Undertaker through a stack of folded tables on a cart with the Widowmaker. While EMTs rush to the scene, O'Haire taunts the Undertaker saying that there is no way that he can get up from the Widowmaker, but he isn't telling him anything that he don't already know.
Rey Mysterio def Ultimo Dragon via Pinfall (West Coast Pop)
Rey and Dragon exchange pleasantries before the match. Throughout the course of the match both men pull out a ton of high flying moves to wow the crowd. Rey gets the win after a West Coast Pop, and Dragon congratulates him. Tazz notes that he is getting some information from the back involving the Undertaker and Sean O'Haire. A quick camera cut later, and we find Sean O'Haire lying across another row of tables bleeding with the Undertaker standing over him. Undertaker turns to look down at Sean and says, "Rest In Peace."
Kurt Angle def Rhyno via Submission (Angle Lock) To retain the WWE Championship
After the match Eddie Guerrero comes out to the stage and challenges Kurt Angle to put the title on the line in a match next week. Angle balks at the idea citing that he shouldn't have to defend his title against someone as downright despicable as Eddie. Guerrero counters, that the contract for the title match guarantees him a return match and that Angle will have to defend the title against him. Angle goes to complain about this but Eddie cuts him off saying that if he don't like it, there is someone he can talk to. . .Vince McMahon, next week on Smack Down!
